Mohammad Asfour

Mr. Asfour received his BA from the University of Jordan . He then joined the family business and started an IT company. After which, he joined the Jordan Investment Board (Government) and was active in different fields. One of his responsibilities was to promote Jordan 's ICT sector for local and foreign investments. This coincided with King Abdullah's accession to the throne. During this period Jordan 's exports of IT products and services grew up from few USD million to over USD 100 million annually. Mohammad also worked as a consultant for the UNDP, UNIDO, and US A's Amir Program.

His work took him to over 60 cities in about 22 countries from Indonesia to the US , additionally; he received training in four US states and also in Europe . The idea was to introduce best international practices into Jordan . The training covered different fields such as: investment promotion, ICT promotion, project appraisal, intellectual property, etc

Mr. Asfour left the Government in December 2002 to restructure a privately owned company called: Globatel. Globatel invests in startups and innovative ideas.
